Since Roman Antiques, the city of Dax in Southern France, is well known for its thermal warm water sources.
In the historical center, you can find the beautifully renovated "Place de le Fontaine Chaude", a daily attraction for tourists and a gathering place for the locals.
To symbolize the water currents under the square, leading to the fountain, the architect (OKRA, Utrecht The Netherlands) used our LEDdrain system, a combination of linear LEDlighting and drainage.
Due to the classified monument on the square, a dimmable lighting system was chosen to be able to adapt the light output to the different needs.
